CRA SpeedFest is always a fun event. Racers and fans can escape the cold and head south to Cordele, Georgia for a fun weekend of racing that is almost always a great show. 2017’s edition was no different with Harrison Burton taking the win.
All divisions came out to Bristol Motor Speedway for the last chance to shake down their cars before the inaugural Short Track U.S. Nationals race weekend. Our reporters were on the ground at the Last Great Colosseum to recap all of the action.
The Winchester 400 is always a wild race, but the added threat of rain increased the urgency and made for a crazy event. Harrison Burton looked like he had it in the bag late, but a parts failure led to a wild finish.
The Redbud race at Anderson Speedway (IN) was traditionally a 300-lap race, but that was changed ahead of the 2017 season. Another 100 laps were added to the race and it ended up being a great move. The race was thrilling from start to finish with plenty of great short track action throughout.
Michigan’s Berlin Raceway is one of the trickiest short tracks in the nation, but it always puts on an exciting race. This year’s Battle at Berlin 251 was no different.
We strapped a camera to Johnny VanDoorn’s Super Late Model to take a ride with him as he raced for a championship at Winchester Speedway.
Johnny VanDoorn had one of his best races of the season in the ARCA/CRA Super Series portion of the Glass City 200, taking the win in the September event at Toledo Speedway.
After taking the checkered flag at CRA SpeedFest for the first time, the always entertaining Harrison Burton had plenty to talk about.
The CRA Street Stocks are fun to watch anywhere as they slide through the corners, but especially at Indiana’s Lucas Oil Raceway.
A power outage at the track couldn’t stop this race from being one of the best races of Winchester 400 weekend.
