According to a statement from the Randolph County (IN) Sheriff’s department, Charlie Shaw, owner of Winchester Speedway in Winchester, Indiana, has put up a $1,000.00 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects relating to the burglary at his home.

The release stated that between the hours of 6:00pm on Monday, September 1, 2014 and 4:30am on Tuesday, September 2, 2014, unknown suspect(s) gained entry into Shaw’s home and stole a large amount of cash and checks from his residence.

The burglary occurred after the conclusion of the Labor Day Weekend Stock Car Festival held on August 31-September 1 at the famed half-mile oval.

County officials believe the alleged thieves specifically targeted Shaw’s residence after the race event.
