The 42nd Annual Rattler 250 will see drivers bring everything they have, including the best tire specialists in the business, to South Alabama Speedway this coming weekend. Among those tire specialists is Wesley Weed, who will be offering a unique program for racers who use his services.
Any driver/team who uses “Weeder” this weekend and wins The Rattler will receive his services for free during the North/South Super Late Model Challenge at Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville during the weekend of April 7-8.
“I’m trying to do this with multiple series. That way many people have a shot at it,” Weed told Speed51.com. “I’ll be doing it with the Southern Super Series a lot. I’m going to try and do this all summer long and connect races.”
Nothing will be left on the table in the way of tire strategy as South Alabama Speedway houses one of the toughest tracks when it comes to tire wear. Getting ahead of the fierce competition with your tires is crucial for every driver and team.
“It’s very critical, tires are always an issue there,” Weed said.
Looking to improve the performance of teams and drivers across the board, Weed is dedicated to bringing his expertise in the tire game to as many teams as possible. His main goal is for his drivers to succeed.
Weed is going to be offering this deal as often as he can over the course of the 2018 season. Spreading the wealth of his help and ideas can be an important parts of a winning strategy.
He has added an incentive for the winner of the North/South Challenge at Nashville Fairgrounds as well.
“The winner of Nashville, if they use me, will get the weekend of Bristol free.”
The Short Track U.S. Nationals at Bristol Motor Speedway is a huge weekend in the world of asphalt short track racing and the tire game will be played hard by all teams. Given his winning history, having “Weeder Nation” on your side could certainly make a difference.

He’s looking to add to the long list of accomplishments, including Snowball Derby and Oxford 250 victories, that he already has under his belt.
Weed already has a hand full of drivers he’s working for this upcoming weekend at the Rattler 250 including Harrison Burton, Jeff Choquette and Stephen Nasse. Ronald Enfinger will help him manage his responsibilities throughout the busy weekend.
