All three divisions will utilize the passing points format. Drivers will draw for their respective heat races and then will earn passing points during those events. The top 16 in total passing points in each division will transfer directly to their feature event. The top 6 in overall passing points will be inverted for their starting positions in the main events, with drivers in positions 7-16 starting straight up in those feature starting positions. Heat race winners will automatically transfer into the night’s feature as well, meaning if a heat race winner does not end up in the overall top 16, he will bump someone and transfer to the main event. Late Model and Modified features will start 24 cars and X Mod features will start 20 cars nightly.
Camping will be FREE at this year’s Wild West Shootout. We will also have restroom facilities and garbage collection locations for the campers this year in the camping area.
