Current ARCA Racing Series point leader Mason Mitchell is coming off a second place finish at Michigan International Speedway and is getting ready for the next event at Elko Speedway in Elko, Minnesota on Saturday, June 21st.

Recently at Michigan, we had a chance to visit with Mason and asked him a simple question. What’s in your wallet?

The 19-year-old, who turns 20 on June 25th, gladly obliged and quickly pulled out his wallet.

Like many teenagers, he didn’t have much cash. But he did have some items in there to show that he is ready to get out of his teens.

Of course, he has a driver’s license, his ARCA Racing license and a couple of credit cards.

We also learned that he is an MVP customer at the Food Lion grocery chain and has a GNC Gold Card.

“I don’t know why I have this card,” Mitchell said he pulled out his GNC Gold Card. “I only went there once to get some supplements and really haven’t used it.”

He then pulled out his health insurance and dental insurance cards.

“Yeah, I am still on my mom’s insurance and can be now until I am 26 with the new health care laws,” Mitchell said with a chuckle.

Since he is a racecar driver, he does carry a pocket size gear ratio chart in his wallet as well.

Mitchell continued to look around and found a Starbucks card. Mitchell looked at it and started to wonder why he had it in his wallet.

“I am not sure why I have this in my wallet. I have yet to put any money in it to use it.”

He also showed off his Speedways Indoor Go-Karts 2013 license. The official photo on his license has a buddy flashing rabbit ears behind his head.

Mitchell owns his own ARCA team, so naturally he has a lot of receipts to hold on to during the race weekend.

We appreciate Mason for taking the time to share what is in his wallet.
