For nearly 20 years, Wehrs Machine has been making some of the finest racing products in the world. What started as a young boy with the desire to build cool parts for anything he could imagine, has turned into a nearly two-century old business crafting race car parts for both the dirt and asphalt worlds.
“I started Whers Machine Racing Products 19 years ago with a great desire to make the best racing products in the industry,” said Wehrs Machine Owner Chad Wehrs. “What began with three manual machines making parts one at a time, has now turned into over 1000 part numbers being made on CNC machines 18 hours a day.”
While Wehrs is proud to offer over 40 unique design items specific for the racing industry, their involvement in the racing world travels far beyond the CNC’s in their shop. Since 1968 the Wehrs family has owned, sponsored or raced and that passion carries through to their work at Wehrs Machine on a daily basis.
“We have a deep passion for the industry, we are not a machine shop that decided to make racing products,” said Wehrs, “We are a serious group of race car drivers, crew chiefs, and mechanics that strive to manufacture the greatest line of products to help you win races.”
The word most used to describe the work done in the Wehrs machine shop is innovative, and it’s something the company prides itself on. In the ever-evolving world of racing it has never been more important to keep up with the latest trends.
“Our rear suspension packages for Dirt Modifieds and Late Models are the most innovative on the market with more adjustment and options than any other manufacturer today,” said Wehrs. “We will continue to innovate the finest products in the industry to keep our customers into victory lane.”
Victory Lane seems to be common place for cars loyal to the Wehrs name. Whether it’s on dirt or asphalt, Wehrs products continue to help driver be successful and set the standard in short track racing.
“We manufacture some of the best rear suspension for both asphalt and Dirt Late Models that drivers such as asphalt pilot Ty Majeski and Dirt Late Model pilot Chad Simpson rely on to win races,” said Wehrs.
