FRIDAY, October 21

MIDWEST

All Star Sprints (OH) – Rain washed out the first night of the season finale weekend at Atomic Speedway. Saturday’s event will now be a single $10,000 to win show.

 

Legends Dirt Nationals (WI) – Following qualifying and heat racing at 141 Speedway, the Race of Champions were held. Ryan Mech won the Young Lion/Semi-Pro event. Tim Brockhouse won the Master race. Justin Comer in the Pro feature.

 

World of Outlaws Sprints (KS) – Brad Sweet won the Rumble on the River at Lakeside Speedway.

 

USAC National Midgets (IN) – Brady Bacon won the Jason Leffler Memorial at Wayne County Speedway.

 

NORTHEAST

SATURDAY, October 22

MIDWEST

All Star Sprints (OH) – Sheldon Haudenschild won the 2016 season finale at Atomic Speedway while Chad Kemenah won his fifth career All Star title.

 

Legends Dirt Nationals (WI) – In the feature races at Speedway 141 Jackson Lewis won the Young Lion, Vince Bartolotta won in Masters, Devin Stocker in Semi-Pro, and Jeff Steenbergen in Pro.

 

World of Outlaws Sprints (OK) – Daryn Pittman led the Twister Showdown at Salina Highbanks Speedway wire to wire.

 

NORTHEAST

Eastern States Weekend (NY) – Brian Krummel won at Orange County Fair Speedway in the 100-lap Small Block Modified event.

 

Granite State Pro Stock Series (CT) – Dave Farrington, Jr. started at the rear and went to the front to win at the New London-Waterford Speedbowl. Barry Gray was the champion. (Click here for story)

 

RoC Asphalt Modifieds (PA) – Young Kyle Strohl won at Mahoning Valley Speedway in the 150-lap Octoberfast event. (Click here for story)

 

SOUTHEAST

Hickory Motor Speedway (NC) –  The Fall Brawl saw Josh Berry winning in the Late Model Stocks and Andy Loden in Limited Late Models.

 

Orange County Speedway (NC) – Garrett Bunch swept the two Late Model 50 lap features while Terry Dease won the championship.

 

Southeast Limited Late Models (SC) – Colby Howard won at Greenville-Pickens Speedway.

 

Southern All Stars (AL) – Derek Ellis was the victory at the Talladega Short Track.

 

Southern Modified Racing Series (NC) – The inaugural season finale went to Burt Myers who also was crowned the series champion at Caraway Speedway. (Click here for story)

 

World Short Track Championship (NC) – The DIRTcar UMP Modifieds A-Main went to Kyle Strickler who led every lap. David Stremme got past Nick Hoffman in the final corner to take second. MIDWEST

Dells Raceway Park (WI) – Casey Johnson won the Falloween feature after leaders Ty Majeski and Andrew Morrissey made contact on the final lap. (click here for story)

 

NORTHEAST

Eastern States Weekend (NY) – Stewart Friesen followed up his Super DIRT Week victory by winning the 55th Eastern States 200 at Orange County Fair Speedway.

 

NEMA Midgets (CT) – Doug Coby concluded his 2016 racing schedule with a Midget win at the New London-Waterford Speedbowl as a part of the Bemer’s Big Show.

 

Tri-Track Open Modified Series (CT) – Ron Silk and Tommy Barrett won the two $3,000 to win, 35-lap qualifying races. Matt Hirschman won the $5,000 to win 65-lap main feature. (Click here for Speed Central)

 

Valenti Modified Racing Series (NH) – Jon McKennedy swept the two 50-lap Oktoberfest features at Lee USA Speedway to close out his championship season.
