All eyes were on Tulsa, Oklahoma this past weekend as over 300 drivers made their way to the River Spirit Expo Center for the 30th Annual Chili Bowl Nationals. The Chili Bowl served as the major short track racing of the weekend, but there were also plenty of other important events that took place including the Wild West Shootout at USA Raceway (AZ) and the ARCA Racing Series test at Daytona International Speedway (FL).

Rico Does It Again – With the sold out River Spirit Expo Center chanting, “Rico! Rico! Rico!” Rico Abreu claimed from his car Saturday night as the winner of the 30th Annual Chili Bowl Nationals. 51’s Rob Blount was on location and you can read his full post-race report by clicking the link above.
Davenport Rides the Cushion to $11,000 Win – Jonathan Davenport put an exclamation point on his overall Wild West Shootout championship on Sunday by winning the $11,000-to-win finale at USA Raceway (AZ). The man best known as “Superman” flied around the cushion all night long en route to his third win of the week.
A Complete Sweep for Team Mason Mitchell at Daytona Testing – Mason Mitchell Motorsports had five drivers on their roster for this weekend’s ARCA Racing Series test at Daytona Int’l Speedway (FL), and at the end of the weekend four of them were at the top of the speed chart.

Bryan Clauson’s ‘Circular Insanity Tour’ – Some people may call him insane for the feat he is trying to accomplish, and because of that Bryan Clauson has named his attempt to compete in 200 races this year the “Circular Insanity Tour.” 51’s Rob Blount has the full story following Clauson’s runner-up finish in the Chili Bowl.
Supermarket Chain May Mean Doom for Wisconsin Dirt Track – On Thursday, 51’s Jana Wimmer provided a detailed update to the report that a supermarket chain may soon replace the racing action held at Wisconsin’s Manitowoc Speedway.
Chili Bowl Preliminary Winners – Four days of preliminary A-Main features helped to set the grid for Saturday’s 30th Annual Chili Bowl Nationals. Alex Bright, Rico Abreu, Christopher Bell and Bryan Clauson scored the four preliminary night wins.
