LANCASTER, N.Y. — New York International Raceway Park (NYIRP) and Race of Champions (RoC) officials have postponed the 4th Annual Joe Reilly Crown Royal Classic 54 for the Race of Champions Asphalt Sportsman Modified Series scheduled for Thursday evening due to the threat of severe weather.
The Joe Reilly Crown Royal Classic will now be part of the 31st annual U.S. Open weekend on Saturday, September 14.
The next stock car event for Lancaster Speedway @ NYIRP will be Saturday, July 20 with Autograph Night. The RoC Sportsman Modified Series and RoC Late Model Series will co-headline the show, featuring an on-track autograph session during intermission. The Street Stocks, 4-Cylinders and NYPA TQ Midgets will also be in action. Gates will open at 4 p.m. with racing starting at 6:15 p.m.
Lancaster Dragway @ NYIRP hosts the Supercharged Bounty Hunters and a full card of IHRA Drag Racing tomorrow night (Friday, July 12). It’s the 716 vs. 585 as four Buffalo-based supercharged doorslammers take on four invaders from Rochester. Time trials start at 5 p.m.
