Summer Thunder TV presented by PFC Brakes continues this weekend on Speed51, starting with a pair of asphalt Late Model events certain to please short track racing fans.
In Wisconsin, the ARCA Midwest Tour will contest the Howie Lettow Classic 100, honoring the memory of legendary crew chief Howie Lettow. The event started in 2012 at The Milwaukee Mile and moved to Madison International Raceway in 2015.
Plenty of big names will be in action at the Lettow Classic, including Slinger Nationals winner and former NASCAR Cup Series champion Matt Kenseth, Wisconsin standout Ty Majeski, ARCA Midwest Tour title contenders Casey Johnson and Austin Nason, a trio of Kulwicki Driver Development Program finalists (Luke Fenhaus, Carson Kvapil and Paul Shafer, Jr.) and many more.
While the best of the Midwest will do battle at Madison, Late Model stars of the Deep South will gather at another half-mile, Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Florida, for the next round of the track’s Allen Turner Pro Late Model championship series.
With two races remaining for the Allen Turner Pro Late Models, a trio of teenagers – Connor Okrzesik, Colby Howard and Jake Garcia – are within six points of each other in the title hunt. Add in other marquee Late Model names preparing for the Snowflake 100 as part of the 52nd Annual Snowball Derby, and there will be plenty of star power in Pensacola.
Watching both of these races is as simple as signing up for a premium membership to the Speed51 Network. A monthly ($9.99/month) or yearly ($79.99/year) Membership grants users access to both of these broadcasts, as well as the rest of our Summer Thunder TV catalogue, featuring more than 70 live events during the summer months.
