Racing returns to Citrus County Speedway this Saturday, July 25 as the Wheel Man Racing Series and the Florida Pro Truck Challenge Series hit the bullring each for 50 laps of action. Both races will be streamed live on Speed51’s Summer Thunder TV for monthly and yearly subscribers.
“It’s definitely going to be pretty exciting,” Citrus County Speedway Promoter Cameron Ray told Speed51. “You have two of the best traveling series in the State of Florida at the same race track on the same weekend. There’s going to be a pile of cars and trucks here. I’m kind of a little bit nervous about it because we’re going to run out of parking in a hurry, but there’s going to be at least 20 cars in each class, potentially more. So it’s going to be pretty crazy.”
Fans that are unable to attend this weekend’s double feature can watch it live on Speed51. All that is needed to watch the live broadcast is a monthly or yearly subscription to Speed51. A premium subscription will give race fans access to the live broadcast, as well as highlights and select live broadcasts.
Headlining the Wheel Man feature will be series points leaders Brandon Morris, Jesse Henley and Rex Struble, who will be trying to hold off young guns like Jake Perkins, Dillon Sivils and Brooke Storer.
The Pro Truck Challenge Series will also feature plenty of young guns trying to make a name for themselves in the Florida short track ranks.
Gates open at 5:30 p.m. with racing kicking off at 6:30 p.m. Speed51’s live broadcast will begin with feature racing starting at approximately 7:30 p.m.
If you can’t make it to Citrus County Speedway, become a monthly or yearly subscriber today to watch the action.
