For the first time ever, Speed51 will broadcast the TUNDRA Super Late Model Series on Saturday, August 8. The Wisconsin-based Super Late Model Series heads to State Park Speedway this weekend for the third round of its 2020 season, and fans around the country will be able to watch live on Speed51’s Summer Thunder TV.
The broadcast of the TUNDRA Super Late Model Series event will be available free for Speed51 premium monthly and yearly subscribers as part of Summer Thunder TV. It will begin at approximately 7 p.m CT (8 p.m. ET) with feature racing from the Wausau, Wisconsin bullring.
The race will be the third event of the season for the TUNDRA Super Late Models. Nearly 30 drivers have pre-entered for the race, including three-time series champion Casey Johnson, who currently leads the points standings. Mark Mackesy, a two-time winner with TUNDRA at State Park, is also on the entry list, along with the likes of Justin Mondeik, Gabe Sommers, John Beale and many more of the top Super Late Model racers in Wisconsin.
Saturday’s race will be aired as part of Summer Thunder TV, the series of live short track racing broadcasts available to Speed51 premium members throughout the months of July and August. Premium subscribers enjoyed access to more than 20 live broadcasts in July, with many more on the way in the month of August.
