The FASTRAK Racing Series continues its 2020 season this weekend with a West Virginia doubleheader. As part of Summer Thunder TV, fans will be able to watch the second race of that doubleheader live on Speed51.
On Saturday, August 8, the FASTRAK Racing Series returns to I-77 Speedway for the UBB Miners Memorial 29. Fans unable to attend the event will be able to watch live with a Speed51 premium monthly or yearly membership.
The event is part of a doubleheader weekend for the Dirt Pro Late Model touring series, which will start the trip to the Mountain State with a race on Friday, August 7 at Ohio Valley Speedway. The UBB Miners Memorial 29 pays tribute to the 29 miners killed in the Upper Big Branch Mine explosion in 2010.
While the event is an emotional one for those in West Virginia, it also offers incredible racing. Last year’s UBB Miners Memorial proved to be one of the best races of the 2019 FASTRAK Racing Series season, as Freddie Carpenter out dueled Logan Roberson and Benji Hicks in a thriller.
Saturday’s race will be aired as part of Summer Thunder TV, the series of live short track racing broadcasts available to Speed51 premium members throughout the months of July and August. Premium subscribers enjoyed access to more than 20 live broadcasts in July, with many more on the way in the month of August.
