Two weekends of racing at Florence Motor Speedway begin on Saturday, November 14 with the South Carolina 250. Fans unable to make the trip to the South Carolina facility will be able to watch Saturday’s racing live on Speed51.TV
Saturday’s racing card is headlined by a 100-lap feature for Limited Late Models, with Super Trucks and Street Stocks also competing. The Limited Late Model portion has already received 40 entries, as drivers will be competing for 28 spots in Saturday’s feature field.
The South Carolina 250 serves as a precursor to the South Carolina 400 on November 21, headlined by a 225-lap Late Model Stock Car feature. The two weekends of racing are taking place at Florence Motor Speedway, which reopened under the guidance of an ownership group including former Myrtle Beach Speedway General Manager Steve Zacharias.
The event was added to Florence’s schedule following the closing of Myrtle Beach Speedway, which held its last race in August. Myrtle Beach was the longtime home of one of Late Model Stock Car racing’s crown jewels, the Myrtle Beach 400.
Fans will be able to watch Saturday’s racing live for free with a Speed51.TV subscription. Speed51.TV subscribers gain access to live events such as the South Carolina 250 and 400, as well as highlights, recaps, music videos and more from the biggest events in short track racing.
