Only two races are in the books for the Show Me the Money Pro Late Model Series at Alabama’s Montgomery Motor Speedway, but already a fierce championship battle has developed between two of Late Model racing’s best. Like the first two shows, no matter where you are, as long as you have a computer or mobile device and a Speed51 premium subscription, you can watch Round 3 Saturday afternoon on Speed51.com.
The broadcast will, per usual, be available for free to any one possessing either a monthly or yearly Speed51 subscription. Prices start at $9.99 for just the month and $79.99 for the year, with Speed51’s vast video archive and other select live races also being available with each subscription.
For this particular occasion, this Saturday, May 11 will see the Show Me the Money Series reaching the halfway mark of the six race, season-long title fight.
On top of the championship so far, Alabama’s Augie Grill leads the bout, with just his Alabama 200 victory back in March being the only difference, as he and Georgia ace Casey Roderick are currently tied in the championship standings.
Not too far behind these two championship stars lurks another Alabama stalwart, Justin South, who has used a pair of consistent finishes to keep the top two in sight.
The youth movement of the Pro Late Models is growing restless, especially given the recent success of Colby Howard, who won the previous Show Me The Money round back on April 6 for his first Montgomery trophy. He then followed that up with another Pro Late Model win to the south at Florida’s Five Flags Speedway to end the month of April.
Throw in names like Jake Garcia, Blaise Rutherford, Ryan Herbert, and Perry Patino and you have a quite the crowd that is primed to knock the usual suspects off the podium.
Saturday will be the next piece of a great season-long fight at Montgomery, so be sure not to miss a lap and join the Speed51 Network today.
