Speed51’s “Short Track America” returns to MAVTV tonight at 7 p.m. ET with an all-new episode featuring a division that has yet to be seen on Short Track America. Tonight’s episode will feature the always exciting Allen Turner Pro Late Models at Pensacola, Florida’s Five Flags Speedway as they do battle for 100 exciting laps.
The Pro Late Models are one of the most exciting divisions that race at Five Flags Speedway. The Pro Late Models offer door-to-door, fender-banging excitement at high speeds on one of America’s most challenging short tracks.
This event, known as the Allen Turner Tune-Up offers Pro Late Model teams one last chance to race at Five Flags before returning in December for the Allen Turner Snowflake 100, the biggest race of the year for Pro Late Model racing.
Casey Roderick enters the race as the division points leader. Roderick is seeking his second straight track championship in the Pro Late Model ranks, and of course he is seeking another victory as well.
This time he’ll have to beat Bubba Pollard if Roderick wants to take home the win. Pollard is making a rare appearance in the Pro Late Model at Five Flags as he gets his car ready for the Snowflake 100.
Wednesday night’s Allen Turner Tune-up will feature an announce team of Alan Dietz, Rob Blount and Casey LaJoie.
The action begins at 7 p.m. ET on MAVTV.
