A stout field of 34 Super Late Models qualified at the historic Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville (TN) for the North/South Super Late Model Challenge 100. The best from the Southern Super Series squared off against the best from the ARCA/CRA Super Series in a north versus south battle.
After early domination by a driver seeking his first ever late model victory, it came down to a shootout over the final dozen laps to decide it.
