The Morning Bullring talk show on Speed51.com returned Monday morning at 7 a.m. ET with another jam-packed episode of short track racing talk.
This week’s show looked back on an eventful weekend in the short track racing world with events like the Old North State Nationals at Orange County Speedway, the Icebreaker at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park and much more.
Matthew Long, the winner of the FASTRAK season opener at Toccoa Raceway, joined the show to discuss his victory and his unique career as a racers and the Vice President of Corporate Sales at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
We were also be joined by another young Anthony Campi Racing driver who visited victory lane this past weekend. Colby Howard joined us to discuss his first major Late Model win in the Show Me the Money Series at Montgomery Motor Speedway.
D.J. Shaw, the defending PASS North champion and winner of the season-opening Icebreaker event at Thompson, joined the show to discuss the barnburner he had with Derek Griffith Sunday afternoon.
For the second straight week, Lee Pulliam made an appearance on the show. But this time, he did so $30,000 richer after winning the inaugural Old North State Nationals for the CARS Tour at Orange County Speedway. We also got his thoughts on the penalty that was handed down to him following the much-discussed incident at South Boston Speedway.
A first-time winner also joined the show Monday morning. Jack Dossey III talked to us about his exciting ARCA/CRA Super Series win at Anderson Speedway, a race he won after using a bump ‘n run move late in the going.
In addition to looking back on the weekend, we also looked forward to a few big events happening this weekend including the All American 400 at Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville. Track promoter Tony Formosa joined the show to discuss what’s on tap this weekend.
