This Sunday marks the long-awaited return of the Cabin Fever Championships, and this time around those unable to make it to the event can watch the racing live from their own living room. The 7th annual Cabin Fever Championships from Lucas Oil Raceway (IN) has become a premier grassroots event for all of short track racing and will be available on via a live pay-per-view video stream.


graphic 51 tv cra cabin feverFor the seventh time, the Championship Racing Association (CRA) presents a packed day of action from the 0.686-mile Lucas Oil Raceway in Claremont, Indiana. It will serve as the season opener for the CRA Street Stocks, CRA Sportsman, and Top Speed Modifieds who will each go 40-laps, as well as the Vore’s Compacts who will race for 30 laps.


Officials from CRA and the Top Speed Modifieds estimate that over 120 cars will be in the pit area for the event.


This will be the first live stream of Cabin Fever in its history and will feature a unique assortment of action-packed short track racing.


Live video coverage on will begin at 2 p.m. ET on Sunday, April 3.  The broadcast will kick off with any necessary last chance races and the B-Main for the Vore’s Compact division. This will lead into the four feature events.


Speed51 TV’s live broadcast of the Cabin Fever Championships will be a one-camera broadcast featuring audio from the track’s public address system.
