Friday night, the Southern Super Series’ Super Late Models return to the famed Five Flags Speedway for the second round of the Blizzard Series, continuing the road to the 52ndAnnual Snowball Derby. Race fans unable to attend the race at the historic Pensacola, Florida venue can watch all of the action Friday night with a premium subscription to the Speed51 Network.
The Blizzard Series gives Super Late Model racers four chances throughout the season to compete at Five Flags Speedway ahead of the Snowball Derby, scheduled this year for December 4-8. As such, the Blizzard Series often packs stout fields and exciting racing.
That was definitely the case for the Blizzard Series opener in March, as Giovanni Bromante rallied from a late-race incident that claimed several contenders, including front-runners Connor Okrzesik and Casey Roderick, to take the victory.
This weekend’s race is available to monthly or yearly premium members of the Speed51 Network as part of an action-packed opening weekend to Summer Thunder TV presented by PFC Brakes.
This weekend’s broadcast schedule includes six races from five states and five different classes of racing on both asphalt and dirt. Click hereto learn more about Summer Thunder TV’s growing 2019 broadcast schedule.
