Drivers who finished in the top 10 in points in Approved Body Configuration (ABC) body rule-compliant series’ will be eligible for the award, as well as drivers who were in the top 10 in points at their local tracks throughout North America.

For the 12th straight year, fans across the world can vote for their favorite Late Model drivers on ARbodies, based in Greenbrier, Tennessee, continues its partnership for the 10th straight season to provide the prize package to the winner or winners of the 2018 MPD voting.

“ARBodies is thrilled to be able to partner with again for the Late Model Most Popular Driver award,” said Brian Hall of ARBodies. “We enjoy doing this award because it recognizes personalities off the track, as well as a driver’s talent on the track. We look forward to seeing who will be crowned this year’s Most Popular Drivers.”

“One of our favorite times of the year is when the Most Popular Driver Award voting begins,” said’s editor, Brandon Paul. “We enjoy seeing the different social media campaigns that drivers use to try to get votes. Some get really creative. Others do almost nothing and are still finish near the top of the voting when it’s all over, so it’s really interesting and fun to watch as it progresses. We’re really excited and thankful to have AR Bodies involved with this once again as well.”

In 2017, Oxford 250 winner Glen Luce of Turner, Maine scored the big win in the Late Model Most Popular Driver presented by AR Bodies contest. Fellow Mainer Andy Saunders was crowned the Most Popular Driver in the local track part of the contest.

During the 12-year history of the Most Popular Driver Award presented by AR Bodies, 11 different drivers have won the award.
