Vores and CRA Ready for Exciting Trip to Kil Kare

The final event of the 2021 season at Kil-Kare Raceway will see stars from various classes converge together for a big event.  CRA will be on hand with three of their divisions, as well as race four of the Vores Compact Touring Series Short Track Challenge.

Both the CRA Late Model Sportsman and CRA Street Stocks will be making just their second-ever appearances at the tricky oval.  The Sportsman will headline the card with the rescheduled Bobby Jacks Memorial 71, pitting CRA’s top drivers up against Ohio’s best.  Former Snowball Derby and Winchester 400 champion Gary St.Amant will come out of retirement to take on a field led by JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Kil-Kare winner Kyle Jones.

The CRA Street Stocks have been dominated by former series champion Jason Atkinson to this point of the season.  He’s won four of seven races so far this season, including all three Four Crown races ran to this point.  He leads the CRA regulars into Kil-Kare to take on local drivers from surrounding tracks and the Ohio Wheelman Series for a 50-lap feature.

The Vores Compact Touring Series will also be making just their second-ever start at Kil-Kare, following the track’s return to competition in 2019 that also included the debuts for the CRA LM Sportsman and Street Stocks.  A big car count is expected for their 30-lap feature, as Ohio is the home for a large contingent of drivers.

The CRA Junior Late Models and a Compact/FWD Enduro are also on the card for Sunday’s activities.  The Junior Late Models are first to take part in their feature event, followed by Vores and the Street Stocks.  The headlining LM Sportsman Bobby Jacks Memorial will then be next, with the Compact/FWD Enduro concluding the day’s action.
