Speed51.com has set up a special section dedicated to the latest news surrounding Speedweeks 2015 on the front page of their popular short track racing website. Throughout the two weeks of racing action in the Sunshine State, race fans can check into the section to find out everything they need to know about Speedweeks.
JET Tools, located in La Vergne, Tennessee, will continue their support of short track racing by becoming the presenting sponsor of this special section.
“Steve Wallace introduced us to Timothy Onello, Director of Product Management with JET Tools, at the recent Performance Racing Industry Trade Show in Indianapolis. Steve gave us a great endorsement, which has led to Speed51.com partnering with JET Tools for 2015, starting with them coming on board as the presenting sponsor of Speedweeks Central,” Kevin Ramsell, Speed51.com Director of Business said. “We are eager to work with them in promoting their products to our audience.”
Along with their partnership with Speed51.com, they are also sponsoring Steve Wallace and his Super Late Model team this year, starting this week at the 49th Annual World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing at New Smyrna Speedway in New Smyrna Beach, Florida.
Wallace is the defending World Series Super Late Model champion and is hoping to repeat this year in his No. 66 JET Tools Ford Fusion. The first race is this Friday, February 13 at New Smyrna Speedway.
The race will be shown live on FansChoice.tv powered by Speed51.com for those unable to be at the track.
JET Equipment started in 1958 when company founder, Leslie P. Sussman took the first Boeing Jet Airplne trip from Seattle, WA to Japan. They began as a small dealer of manual chain hoists and trolleys where they sold them from a single hardware store in Tacoma, Washington.
In the 1970’s, JET introduced a full line of industrial air tools and material handling products, which included paving breakers and backfill tampers and forklifts. They later launched a woodworking product category.
From there, JET wen from just being an importer of high quality machines and tools to designing and manufacturing its own products to stringent specifications.
Today, their product line categories include: air tools, hand tools, lifting systems, metalworking, shop tools, warehouse & dock, and woodworking.
