Virtual Modified Series Making Speed51 Debut Tonight

Speed51’s virtual “Thursday Night Thunder” Modified night just got even more exciting. Along with the Race of Champions Invitational Series, the Modified Series will now share the spotlight on Thursday nights.

The action with that series begins tonight at 9:30 p.m. ET with The Show 150 at the virtual Stafford Motor Speedway.

The Sidsview Modified Series is the premier Open Setup Modified Tour on the iRacing service. The series features NASCAR Truck Series driver Ty Majeski, former Waterford Speedbowl SK Modified track champion Tyler Chadwick, and Kulwicki Driver Development Program semifinalist Riley Stenjem.

NASCAR Cup Series regular Ryan Preece and fellow former NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour champion Justin Bonsignore have also competed with the series in recent weeks.

“EastWest Promotions is extremely excited to bring the Modified Series to Speed51. We feel that the drivers of the Modified Series are some of the best Modified drivers on the service and prove it each week,” Kyle Odaynik of EastWest Promotions said. “We are proud to be a part of Speed51’s virtual ‘Thursday Night Thunder’ Modified night.”

All Modified Series races will be live on Speed51, produced by the Full Velocity Racing Network. Phil Lacasse and Stafford Motor Speedway pit road reporter Jeff Maconi will be in the booth calling the action for each race.

Be sure to catch virtual “Thursday Night Thunder” on Speed51 live for free. The RoC Invitational Series will kick things off at 7:30 p.m. ET at Concord Speedway, followed by the Modified Series The Show 150 at Stafford Motor Speedway at 9:30.
