Vinnie Miller piloting the No. 16 Master Mfg., Inc. Crooks Racing car will head to historic Greenville-Pickens Speedway for “The Howler” Pro All Stars Series (PASS) South super late model event SaturdayOctober 24, 2015.

This will be Miller’s first start on the flat half-mile Easley, SC race track which opened in 1946 with a dirt surface and was paved in 1970.  Greenville-Pickens has only five degrees of banking in the turns that made for some interesting NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races from 1951-1971.

“I’m pretty excited about competing in a race called “The Howler”,” Vinnie Miller said.   “I’ve read about the long history of Greenville-Pickens and have learned that is a very flat track with no grip.  I understand it is still pretty racy but saving tires will be the key for the 125 lap event.  I’ve always been really good on flat tracks in the quarter midgets and I hope it will transfer over to the Master Mfg. Crooks Racing super late model. My teammate Zane (Smith) and I will both be practicing on Friday so hopefully one of the two of us can bring home a W for the team Saturday night.”

Practice for Saturday’s “The Howler” PASS South Series race from Greenville-Pickens Speedway will be held Friday, October 23rd with qualifying and the 125 lap race taking place Saturday, October 24, 2015.
