ULTIMATE Supers Set for Georgia Doubleheader

Mother Nature was no fan of the ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series in the month of June, as the series postponed three events due to weather.  ULTIMATE will make up for lost time this weekend, with a doubleheader planned in Georgia.

On Friday, July 2, the series will go to Lavonia Speedway, with a trip to Senoia Raceway scheduled for Saturday, July 3.  Both races will pay $4,000 to the winner.

The last three ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series events have been won by one of the hottest Dirt Late Model drivers in the country, Brandon Overton.  Overton swept a Virginia doubleheader which included the $20,000 King of the Commonwealth at Virginia Motor Speedway, and closed out May with a win at Cherokee Speedway.  Overton is confirmed as an entry for Friday’s race at Lavonia, where he hopes to keep his ULTIMATE winning streak alive.

A fierce four-way championship battle will also add two chapters this weekend in the ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series.  Anthony Sanders leads Dustin Mitchell by two points, Cla Knight by three points and Jeff Smith by five points through the first eight races of the 2021 season.

Speed51, the Official Video Home of the ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series, will be live from Lavonia Speedway on Friday with broadcast coverage of the Max King Memorial, as well as video highlights throughout the weekend from both races.
