ULTIMATE Supers Kick Off Season Saturday at Lake View

Carnesville, Georgia – The ULTIMATE Racing Series SE Region will open its 11th season this Saturday, April 10th at Lake View Motor Speedway in Nichols, South Carolina. The event will mark the first time the series has ever opened at the 4/10ths of a mile facility in Eastern South Carolina. The 50 lapper will pay $5000 to the winner. A rainout weekend derailed the series $10,000 to win Winter Freeze opener at Screven Motor Speedway back in February.

“After a really tough and trying year in 2020 with Covid and the shutdown of the country, we are trying to come out strong. We lost the Screven show to start the season but we are excited to now be kicking it off at Lake View. Scott and Sadie Tripp and their staff have worked hard to bring Lake View to the forefront of the region. And we are starting out the season cautiously optimistic as we try to get into the rhythm of a full schedule. Once we get started though we will be pretty busy with only a few breaks over the first 3 months of the season.” said ULTIMATE SE Series Director Kelley Carlton.

The 2021 slate is certainly a busy one for the Georgia based series. The first 6 weeks feature of the schedule will see 7 events on tap. One week after the Lake View event the series returns to the Modoc Raceway in Modoc, South Carolina for the prestigious 11th Annual Jack Starrette Memorial. Also included among those early season events is the King of the Commonwealth. The KoC is one of the biggest events on the ULTIMATE Schedule hosted by Virginia Motor Speedway. The May 15th event is a one-day $20,000 to win show at Bill Sawyer’s pristine half mile facility in Jamaica, Virginia. The series will also pay a first time visit to Virginia’s Natural Bridge Speedway for a $5000 to win show on Friday, May 14th as well.

There will be seven races during the first six weeks of the ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series season, including the $20,000-to-win King of the Commonwealth at Virginia Motor Speedway and a first-ever trip to Natural Bridge Speedway.

Pit Gates open at 1 pm and Grandstands at 4 pm on Saturday at Lake View Motor Speedway with the drivers meeting set to begin at 5 PM and hot laps to follow. Also on the card are 602 Modifieds, Street Stocks, Stock V-8s and SCDRA FWDs. Pit passes are $40. Grandstand tickets are $20. Lake View is located at 523 Race Track Road in Nichols, South Carolina.
