The track’s Sunoco Modified and Late Model divisions will have segment-style racing in 2014. The segments will be a set distance, then the finishing result of that first segment will be inverted for a second segment of the same distance. Then there will be a shorter sprint segment, similar to the style of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series’ All-Star Race.

Mike O’Sullivan entered this weekend with a six-point lead over Jeremy Davis in the Granite State Pro Stock Series driver standings. O’Sullivan was able to win his qualifying heat race yesterday earning six points, while Davis finished seventh in his heat race and will receive no points.

With that being said, O’Sullivan will enter today’s 50-lap GSPSS feature with a 12-point lead over Davis. With a point structure of 50, 46, 44, 42, 40, etc., O’Sullivan can clinch the championship with a fifth place finish or better here today.

Lou Cicconi enters today’s ISMA event with a 101 point lead in the driver standings over Ben Seitz. According to ISMA, there are 220 points up for grab during each race weekend. This includes race points, heat points, show-up points, bonus points for leading a lap (5) and leading the most laps (5).

Cicconi has a sizeable lead, but Seitz still has a mathematical shot at the championship here today.
