A NASCAR Modified Champion will be crowned here this weekend, but one has already been crowned this weekend in the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour.  Walnut Cove, North Carolina’s Burt Myers locked up the 2010 NWSMT Championship by dominating Thursday’s UNOH Southern Slam 150 at Charlotte Motor Speedway (NC) in a wild and crazy race.
