Comment From Jim

Do you have tomorrow’s schedule?

10:15
To reiterate from earlier,  race officials deemed a number of drivers were not in the staging area in a timely manner. Stephen Nasse, Benjamin, and Dylan Kwasniewski were some of the top drivers who were docked by race offiicals and told to start in the rear.Super Late Model drivers were required to be in the infield during the closing laps of the Modified feature so that officials may grid the field. Drivers pitting outside the track were previously told to cross the track during a 10-minute intermission between the first two and the last two features tonight.

Benjamin and team decided to park the car for the evening to avoid getting in an incident in the back of the field. Dylan Kwasniewski recovered the best of the penalized drivers, finishing 6th.

Comment From GENE PARRY

Good Solid run #74!!!! WTG!

9:57
David Rogers finished 7th and Anthony Sergi were 8th. The contact that resulted in their sliding back was strange. Sergi’s car simply seemed to go into Turn Three much, much deeper than could be expected, slid up the track and Rogers had to get on the binders to avoid collecting Sergi’s machine.
9:56

9:41
Stephen Nasse was sent to the rear of the field as well for not making the starting grid in time.
9:41
Kyle Benjamin and team have decided to park their car as they were sent to the tail for the start of the race. The reasoning for the penalty was “didn’t cross the track in time”. The team says that you can’t cross the track when the previous race is going on.

We have a new competitor joining the rear of the field, the #110 of Michael Seay who rolled through inspection just a few hours ago.
