Comment From Corey Latham

Just watched the Silk/Rocco video, and I thought there was going to be a lot more to it. Looked to me like two young racers with lots of passion, and to be honest, not a whole lot happened after the race. Just looked like any weekly track across America with a disagreement in victory lane, happens every week of the year somewhere, I don’t condone it, but I never want to see a racer bottle their emotions up.

5:51
Tour Mods are up next for their qualifying.

Officials will do everything they can to get the show in on Friday night, but they are aware of the weather threat, thus announcing the moving of these events to Saturday in case of rain.

A noticably depleated SK Modified field has hit the track.  We mentioned that Keith Rocco has packed up and gone home, as has fellow Connecticut driver Nichole Morgillo, who was involved in a crash here last night and did not return today.Other drivers involved in SK Modified crashes yesterday, including Dave Salazrulo and Rob Schultz are back today.  Schultz is on track, while the “Saz” team works on their #53 team in the infield as we speak.

Limited Late Model practice is over and it seems that the track is taking a brief break in the action before continuing practice here today.

In a follow-up to last night’s SK Modified feature event shenanigans, when a fight broke out near victory lane post-race that involved members of Keith Rocco and Ronnie Silk’steams, Keith Rocco was not going to be allowed to race here tonight as a punishment for his and his crew’s actions last night. Because of this, Rocco has decided to pack up and leave for the remainder of the week. Silk, according to track GM Kim Brown, is okay to race here tonight.
1:11
We are not sure on either counts at this time as we have not been told by the officials.

What has replaced the Tornados truck to supply tonight’s culinary delights, and will it make the control tower a safer, more environmentally-friendly place to sit?

Ok thanks. Excellent coverage all week. I have been stuck in Tallahassee all week going to school at FSU. Your live updates, pictures, videos, and radio broadcasts have kept me sane up here. I’ll be down tomorrow to compete in the truck series. See you guys tomorrow. Thanks again!!

We do not have a truck count or a driver roster. We hope to get one later this afternoon, but if we do not, we should have the line-up prior to the race. There are no officials in the tower until later today.
