Bonsignore said his Art Berry-led crew worked hard all week to get the car to where it needed to be for today’s race.

“The guys worked hard all week in the shop,” Bonsignore said. “I wish I could have helped them out, but it’s tough being in New York. Hopefully I can go out there and get them a win tonight to reward their efforts.”

Speed51.com spoke with Steve Masse, driver of the No. 13 VMRS car, earlier today. He tells us that he and his crew worked on the car every day this week to be able to make it here to Monadnock this weekend.

Masse was running fourth during last weekend’s season-opening event at Waterford Speedbowl (CT) when oil on the track forced a big pileup that ended with Richard Savary’s No. 99 on the top of Masse’s roof.
