8:22
NASCAR told the Bassett family that Dillon started to go and then he spun his tires allowing Lemons to get the restart that got the 27 car into the lead. Results are still unofficial, but we don't expect the ruling to change on the restart.
8:18
The Bassett family has informed us that Dillon has been taken to a local area hospital to be treated for carbon monoxide exposure. We will follow up with Dillon Bassett later this week on Speed51.com.
8:15
Tech is still on going and will be for a while.

Triple Crown winner Sellers has an interesting day. He had some rags left in his engine catch fire during the first heat, which wound up burning up his power steering belt so they didn't have any power steering for the rest of that heat and the Last Chance race. In the Last Chance race Sellers went from the back to 8th before being spun on the final laps. He wound up finishing 11th, missing the race by one transfer spot.

Longtime Sellers friend Tony Keen then offered to let Sellers' take the wheel for the race. After praying on it some, Sellers took Keen up on the offer. They went from 40th to 13th on the first run before burning off an alternator wire and not being able to refire after the halfway break. They wound up bringing their car home 6 laps down, in 14th place, good enough to claim the Triple Crown when Pulliam got wrecked late.

7:47
Tommy Lemons on the final restart: "It was wild. Dillon kind of went and then he backed off, and I thought he was trying to get me to bust it. Then he didn't get going again, I heard him spun the tires and I went. My spotter cleared me by six carlengths going into the corner"

7:37
Lemons says he think the mid-race flat tire came when he stopped on the backstretch waiting to let the field catch up. He wound up smacking the Turn Two wall as his tire slowly deflated.
7:35
"Words can express this. This is my 10th year trying to make the race and 11th was our best finish up to now" - Tommy Lemons We are getting some quotes with Lemons about the final restart and will transcribe those fully in a few minutes

A strange scene as Dillon Bassett began to celebrate at the start-finish line, he would later fall off the car and need medical attention. Lemons was then awarded the win. Results are still unofficial. (Speed51.com Photo)
7:32
Dennis Setzer says that if this is his final race at Martinsville, he looks forward to bringing son Brandon here for years to come.
7:30
Regarding the final restart, Setzer says the outside line got a little jump, then whoaed back, causing the inside line to also slow down before everyone took off.
7:28
Setzer says that the cone restart is what made the restarts so competitive. He felt that it really allows drivers to find out where their car runs best.
7:27
Setzer gets a podium. He said that he may have very well retired in Victory Lane if he had won (Speed51.com Photo)
7:25
That's pending any review but also tech which is crucial here too.

6:53
The top-ten as we run is Pulliam, Bassett, Morris, McCaskill, Setzer, Stiltner, Falk, Lemons, Stallings, and Scites.

6:50

6:49
Top-ten: Pulliam, Bassett, Waltz, McCaskill, Morris, Setzer, Stiltner, C.E. Falk, Ramsey, and Tommy Lemons back up to 10th after a flat.

6:44
Lap 183: Bassett keeps pulling out as if he's going to make it three wide, like he's trying to get in the lead duo's minds.
6:43
Lap 182: Another lap, another circuit it is too close to call.
6:43
Lap 180: Bassett thinking about making this three-wide but mercifully thinks better of it.

6:35
Lap 157: Pulliam tries pulling alongside again but Waltz is just really tough wound up in the high line.

Peters' crew has come over to Long's parked #3 to have a "discussion".
6:14

6:13
Lap 114: Long gets loose under Pulliam, sending the #1 up the track. He'll lose a few spots.

Chad Finchum
Bruce Anderson
Brodie Kostecki

Reedy moves ahead of Pembleton for the eighth and final transfer spot.
12:23
Anderson, Finchum, Gibbs, Ramsey, Kostecki, Snider, McGuire your top-seven. Dog fight for the final transfer spot.

The drivers' meeting has wrapped up here in the media center. Some notes from the meeting that will play a role in today's race.

Qualifications

* The top eight advance from each qualifying heat into the feature.
* The next nine drivers (pos. 9-17) will be transferred into the Last Chance race. That means the Last Chance race will have 36 starters for 10 spots.
* Drivers who do not finish in the top 17 in their qualifying heat will be eliminated for the day.

Race

* 200 laps, caution laps will count.
* Drivers will start the race on the tires they competed on in the heats/LC race.
* The lap count will revert to the last completed lap at the yellow.
* The restarts will be "cone-style" restarts. That means drivers can pick and choose what lane they want to restart from.
* There will be a halfway break at lap 100. Four tire changes and ten gallons of fuel can be added then.
* There will be a competition caution at lap 190.
* There will be three attempts at a green-white-checekered.
