“It’s hard to say if this is the year or not,” said Peyton Sellers who was third quick today. “I know we tested well and the car is good and I am just happy to be in the media center talking and not back in the 20’s or 30s in the order. Hopefully tomorrow we can get the triple crown and get a clock.”

Last year Lee Pulliam and Matt McCall each turned in a lap of 20.301 in time trials. Because Pulliam was higher in the nation points a year ago (He was the champion) he got to start on the pole for heat race one. Later today we will time trial the same way off final practice speeds. The $25,000 to win Late Model Stock event here at Martinsville is famous for several reasons. Two of course are the big winners purse and trophy which is a Grandfather Clock that is awarded to the winner.
