Speed51.com is now “Pretty In Pink.” While that reference has nothing to do with the 1986 hit movie starring Molly Ringwald, the nation’s leading pavement short track racing site is using the color “pink” to help a good cause during Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October. But instead of just focusing on Breast Cancer, Sped51.com has partnered with The JEGS Foundation to raise money for all cancer research.

Speed51.com debuts two new style t-shirts in the month of October and for each shirt sold via mail order, the website will donate $10 to The JEGS Foundation, which raises awareness and money for a variety of cancer research.

Well, they tied in time yesterday, putting them on the pole of the first and second heats today. They both won their heats, so they start first and second. Add in last year's nudge by Pulliam to take the win from McCall on the final corner, needless to say these two know each other and are just about equally as strong here today.

Notes from the Driver's Meeting:

There will be four 25-lap qualifying races to determine starting positions 1 through 32. The top 8 in each heat race will advance to the feature. The heats will be followed by a 50-lap last-chance race with top 10 advancing to feature to make a 42-car starting field.

Teams can take on four tires after the heat if they transfer, but those in the last chance race have to run their heat tires. If they make it in through the Last Chance race, then they can change up to four tires like those who made it in from the heats.

- The last chance race will be limited to 36 cars

- All races will have cone restarts. Drivers on the lead lap can each pick their lane on the restarts.

- Caution laps will count in the last chance race and the feature

- You can't pull up to pit at any time

- There will be a free pass and they will pull up to the outside when called to

- All lineups will go back to the last green flag lap

- The leader has to hit the restart line first before or a black flag will be shown. Spinning tires or missed shifts will be taken in to consideration

- Pit road speed will be 30MPH and the caution car will run the same

- The feature is 150 laps with a break at or around lap 75. Teams can cool the engine with a fan or make adjustments, No tires or fuel can be added.
