Summer weekly shows do pretty well for car counts, but this is a special event so it draws cars from all over the Northeast.
3:31
Comment From Kevin Shaw

Wow! These are huge car counts! Was always aware of the Turkey Derby, but never knew it attracted such large numbers of race cars, particularly being so cold during late November in New Jersey. Do the summer weekly shows draw comparable numbers?

3:28
We will have that answer tomorrow morning after the driver's meeting. Today's driver's meeting only addressed qualifying procedures for cars that are racing today.

DO U HAVE ANY SPORTSMEN SPEEDS FROM PRACTICE

12:07
This race track is so unique. It is a 1/3-mile oval with 30 degrees of banking. The best way to describe it for those that have never been is that it's almost like a miniature Dover International Speedway (DE). Wall Stadium Speedway may have steeper banking than Dover, but the way the cars rise up out of the banking off the corners and dive down into the banking going into the turn is very similar to Dover.

The track is situated in a bowl. The upper level of the grandstands is actually ground level with the track located below it.

It's a beautiful, unique racing facility that provides fantastic racing each and every Saturday night throughout the summer.

Tour Modified practice has come to an end. Danny Bohn was fastest in that session.
11:40
We don't have live timing and scoring, but when Mayfield was running near Preece and Matt Hirschman he was able to hang right with them. He's in cars prepared by Dave Brigati from Long Island, and his cars are usually pretty quick.

How is Mayfield, competitive, ?
