Many of the competitors, crew, officials and fans are at WIR today with a heavy heart. Earlier this morning, we all learned of the passing of Bruce Mueller, owner of B&B Racing Engines in Appleton, WI. Bruce passed away unexpectedly during the overnight.

There are many cars in today's field with a B&B motor in their car.

Our presenting sponsor for today, Advanced Engine Concepts Inc. also builds motors for many of the Midwest teams, but they have worked alongside with Bruce. Dan & Paul at AEC pass along their condolences as well as the entire staff at Speed 51.
