With 36 Super Stocks Teams now on the grounds, Kalamazoo Speedway Officials have decided that there will be 2 Last Chance Races (20 Laps apiece) taking the top 4 out of each and locking them into the 100-Lap Super Stock Klash.

The fastest qualifier for tonight’s Super Stock Klash will receive a $200 bonus, courtesy of Boyne Machine and Sweet Manufacturing.  Thi format for Qualifying will see the qualifying order determined by the reverse order of practice speeds, meaning the fastest car in practice will qualify dead last.

Everyone though is gunning for Defending Outlaw Super Late Models Track Champion, 20 Phil Bozell, who is behind the wheel of Lindsey Katz's machine this evening while Katz is in China on vacation.

82 Josh Trammell, a regular competitor at Spartan Speedway as well as Springport Motor Speedway in both tracks' "A-B-C" division is amongst the invaders on the grounds today.

11 Todd Foote, a regular at near-by Galesburg Speedway is also on hand today as well.

One of the most anticipated short track events of the season is quickly approaching. You won’t want to miss the fourth-annual Rowdy 251 at Berlin Raceway in Marne, Michigan. NASCAR superstar Kyle Busch will be back to defend his victories in the last two “Rowdy” events, but an all-star cast of ARCA/CRA Super Series regulars, local favorites and short track gladiators from throughout the country will be out to take the title from him.

A Super Stock is very similar to a Pro Late Model in terms of Template Bodies. However, the Super Stocks here at Kalamazoo Speedway race on 8-inch treaded tires (Hoosier 970s) and have limits on their motors.
