With 137 V-8’s on the grounds, those teams were then divided up into the four divisions of roughly 34-35 cars per class. They then race Qualifier Heat Races as well as Last Chance Races to set today’s Feature Starting Line-Ups.

Both of the Four-Cylinders divisions ran separately between Rear Wheel Drive and Front Wheel Drive competitors. They also ran Qualifier Heat Races and Last Chance Races to set their Feature Line-Ups for Today.

The Super Shoe Nationals consists of everything from Outlaw Bodied Super Late Models all the way to Front Wheel Drive Four-Cylinders and everything in between. The rules are very lenient in terms of what can and can’t be done to the cars. The V-8 divisions are divided into Four Groups (A-B-C-D) based on Qualifying Results while the Rear Wheel Drive Four-Cylinders and Front Wheel Drive Four-Cylinders run in their own separate classes.

This event, a West Michigan tradition going on its’ 27th year is a three-day show that started on Friday, September 27th with Practice and Qualifying and then continued yesterday, (Saturday, September 28th) with Late Qualifying followed by the Qualifier Heat Races and Last Chance Races. Today is all about the Features as there are Six of them.
