We apologize for the lack of updates from today’s other divisions. Earlier weather concerns and delays created some unforeseen circumstances and we were unable to obtain a Driver Roster for those divisions.

After a late caution in the race, Brandon Duchscherer suffered damage to his front end while the No. 88 of Jimmy Castle was another unfortunate driver forced to watch the remainder of the race from the infield. (Speed51.com photo)

“The car was way tighter than I thought it would be at the beginning.” Dutilly said in Victory Lane, “About lap 50 it really came in and I was able to run down Webster.”

“Thankfully I was able to pull away and keep everyone from running us over as they were all fighting for the lead. The car was just awesome.” Dutilly finished.

4:49
“On one of the restarts, the 23 (Michael Smith) got into the 177 (Duchscherer) and got him loose.” said Nasse, “I went to get under him and he tried to get his spot back. He just came down across my nose. I’m not about to let out. We’re racing right there in the top five. It was a racing incident.”

As faar as the contact that ended Nasse’s day, “He (Duchscherer) must have been mad at me. He bumped and nudged me and then finally just spun me out.”

After the incident between Duchscherer and Nasse, for which both Drivers were DQ’d, each had their own take on the incident that ultimately ended both of their days.

An obviously disappointed Duchscherer said he felt he had a solid third plac car today, “We started second at one point and got rooted out of the way.” said Duchscherer after the race, “I’m only gonna get pushed out of the way so many times before I eventually do it back.” he said, referring to the Nasse incident.
