Another interesting story that we are following today is West Coast hot shoe Gary Lewis. Today will be a busy day as his son, Zach, is getting married tonight. This date was planned well in advance to the announcement of this date. Lewis plans to qualify, get on his tuxedo and go to the ceremony, then return for his qualifying heat followed by the reception.

There was practice yesterday evening from 5-8pm. There was only one incident that came late in the session when Austin Reed made heavy contact with the turn three and four wall. The team went back to their shop, three hours away and bring his SRL Super Late Model.

We were told that they didn’t think the car would be ready by the first practice session, but they did and it is already through the tech line.
