His team never came to the facility tonight. He entered the race third in points. I believe part of it (but can’t say for sure) is that his home track of Southside Speedway is racing again. He said he was only running the tour this season if Southside was going to be shut down all year long.

We were told by NASCAR today that Austin Pack now plans to race the rest of the season. The youngster had planned to quit racing for the rest of the race to play football and let grandfather Gene take back the reins of the #31, but has committed to run the rest of the year instead.
