Tonight's race will decided several championship battles. The Gulf Coast title is on the line (Combination between Five Flags and Mobile Super Late Models) the Miller Lite title is on the line (Mobile Super Late Model points) and the overall Southern Super Series.

Bubba Pollard leads the Southern Super Series title by 13 over Daniel Hemric and 46 over Augie Grill.

Pollard leads Miller Lite by 22 over Donnie Wilson and 36 over Garvey, and Hemric.

Pollard leads the Gulf Coast by 51 over Wilson and 86 over Grill.

Points are awarded 15 for the pole, 14 for second and on back. Each driver gets at least one point in time trials if they take the green. If they pull out of impound they forfeit their points.

In the race the winner gets 100, 97 for second, 94 for third and a three point drop all the way back.

Some youngsters are running the Southern Super Series for the first time this weekend. Dalton Sargeant was in the top 10 last night in his first Super Late Model start. Other SLM rookies running this weekend include Garrett Jones, Dustin Smith, Denver Foran, Bayley Currey, and Todd Gilliland (not running tonight). All the additional drivers will help lay the ground work for the Southern Super Series in 2015. In the drivers meeting it was mentioned that information would be coming out soon.
