11:43
Donnie Wilson, who went on to finish second, had the best view of the battle for the lead, “I was really surprised with them racing as hard as they were, and we were, none of us fell off. We had a good consistent car all race, maybe just a tick off.” Wilson did say that restarts was where he was struggling as the car would not go in to second gear, “We’ll go ahead and change it out and have a new transmission in for tomorrow night.” He added. And the final word from Wilson was simple, “That was just a great race.”

Hunter Ward wins the Bomber feature.
11:36
11:36
Tech is complete and the race results are now official.
11:35
Augie Grill stated that although that battle was fun, naturally, he would have rather been in Victory Lane, “I just wore out my tires too much going side by side for that long” said the fourth place finisher, adding, “I guess he (Pollard) saved them better than I did.” Overall, Grill said he was pleased with a fourth place finish and a car in one piece.
11:32
The now four time SSS winner went on to explain, “I out a little too much rear brake in it before he got around me and I was just too free. So after he got back around and me and we settled down I was able to put some more front brake in it.”
11:31
“What can I say? That’s what racing is all about right there.” Is how Pollard described what most are commenting on as an epic battle for the lead in the closing stages of the race.
11:30
Pollard also picked up his fourth Southern Super Series win in a row which is also a record. Pollard has now also led over 1000 laps in the series.
11:29
The win for Pollard was his third in a row in the Blizzard series which is a record dating back into the Snowball Derby Challenge Series back in 2001.
11:28
Looking back on the Southern Super Series feature there were six lead changes in the final 26 laps.
11:23
The Bombers feature is on the track.

Halfway of tonight’s race will be scored at lap 63. There is a competition yellow scheduled for lap 75, however, any “naturally occurring” yellow that thrown after lap 65 will be considered the competition yellow.

Bubba Pollard is looking for three wins in a row in the Blizzard Series and four in the Southern Super Series. Both of those would be records in their series.
