There was some discussion about the tire rule. Coming into today the rules were changed from five to four tires. There was some confusion on whether they could change a tire as long as what a scuff. Matt Hirschman spoke up about his past experiences and cost concerns, and it was determined that a tire can be changed in the 75-lap feature only if there is a flat. Drivers must start the features on the tires they raced in the heat.

This will be race one for the Evergreen Raceway Park Poker Series. At the end of each of the features in the five race series, drivers will be awarded a “card” based on their finishing position. Best five card hand at the end of the season will be awarded a $1,000 bonus. Today’s 75 lap race is $3,000-to-win.
