The drivers meeting was pretty standard as teams were reminded that they can take two fresh tires at the lap 75 break. Other then that they can only use the two scuffed tires that are in the pits. There are bonus points awarded for the lap 75 break. Bubba Pollard got 10 at Nashville and TJ Reaid got 10 at Gresham.

Dozens of racecars.  Two tracks.  Two nights.  Three championships on the line.  That's the story by the numbers for the first of four Gulf Coast Super Late Model weekends of the 2013 season.  It all starts with the Southern Super Series presented by Sunoco event at Pensacola, Florida's Five Flags Speedway on May 24.  The Southern Super Series 125 presented by Crane Cams at Five Flags will also be a points event for the track's Blizzard Series and the hotly-contested Gulf Coast Championship.  Then on Saturday, May 25, the top names in the Super Late Model scene will move about an hour across Interstate 10 to Alabama's Mobile International Speedway for the second half of the Southern Super Series doubleheader.  The Mobile event, the Southern Super Series 125 presented by VDL Fuel Systems, will also count for the track's Super Late Model title and the Gulf Coast Championship.  For ticket information and more details on the first Gulf Coast Super Late Model doubleheader of the season, visit www.fiveflagsspeedway.com and www.mobilespeedway.net.

There are several key players here for this race. Hunter Robbins and Mason Massey won Pro Late Model shows here last season and Mike Garvey won the Super Late Model show they hosted. Augie Grill has also won shows here in the past.

One team that needs some luck is the Augie Grill team. They came from the back at both races and could use a good starting spot tonight.
