thanks guys. awesome coverage.

10:25

Today's race featured 6 cautions. As always, thanks to SSS stats guru Don Hallford for providing 51 with quick access to race information.

10:23

Tonight's race featured two lead changes among two drivers. Augie Grill led laps 1-75. Pollard then paced the field from 76 to 83 and Grill led, albeit it by no more than a carlength, from lap 84 to 125.

10:20

Pollard takes home the runner-up trophy. He says his next race will be the Battle at Berlin in two weeks (Speed51.com Photo)

10:19

Points wise, unofficially Bubba Pollard's lead will grow from 7 to 15 points on Daniel Hemric. Despite three wins, Grill has also had some poor finishes in the other three races and remains 42 points back accoridng to our tally. Mike Garvey moves up to fourth in points at the expense of John Hunter Nemechek.

9:48

Lap 107:  Bobby Knox by Robbins for sixth.

9:47

Lap 101: In last September's Super Late Model race at Montgomery, Grill dominated the first half of the race. Pollard then seemed to come on strong at the end of the race. But Pollard and Grill made contact, sending both to the rear and Garvey to the win. An eerie replay may be setting up as Garvey closes on the sparring leaders.

9:45

Lap 100: Twenty-five laps to go. Pollard and Grill are battling to become the first three-time winner in series history

9:45

9:41

Lap 87: Grissom was the cause of that three-wide action as he is off the pace.

9:41

Lap 86: Garvey to third and we are three-wide in the back.

9:40

RESTART: Grill and Pollard play nice this time, Grill to the lead by a carlength on Pollard.

9:40

Grill and Pollard are obviously trying to make a point with each other, and they both pass the pace car to not give any ground to the other.

9:39

RESTART & YELLOW: Grill either had something happen or Pollard jumped it. Either way, series officials didn't like the restart and we will double them up and try that again.

9:38

Wilson is also done for the day as we doubled for the restart.

9:19

Teams are being told they have thirty seconds left and Kyle Grissom's team is in a hurry as they may not make the clock.

It's a plain dice roll, so 6 is the max, 1 is the min.

9:13

Comment From Donald

What is the most they can invert?

9:11

Of course, we still have 50 laps to go and will have a different running order after the dice roll.

9:11

Yes, Grill entered the race third in points. But Grill thus far stands to make the most sizeable impact.

9:10

Comment From Guest

Isn't Hemric 2nd in points not Grill??

9:10

Running Order at Lap 75 break:

1 112 Augie Grill 75
2 1 Mike Garvey 75
3 26 Bubba Pollard 75
4 8 John Hunter Nemechek 75

7 18 Hunter Robbins 75
8 2 Donnie Wilson 75

9:02

Lap 63: Chet Morrisson and Allen Karnes have lost the lead lap.

9:02

Lap 60: Competition break comes in fifteen laps. Remember, points are awarded for finishing in the top-five, so there is an emphasis to finish there before the break's invert.

9:01

Lap 57: Garvey tried pushing Nemechek up in the middle of the corner and finally takes P2.

Lap 56: Garvey draws up to Nemechek's door for second.

2013 Pro Late Model standout Justin South may be missing a few races in the next few weeks. South had his truck and trailer stolen from Hamner Racing Engines in Alabama last week. The trailer was gutted and then burned, but the truck was taken and has not been recovered as of yet. South lost fire suits, shocks, springs, and racing accessories. South told 51 that basically everything he owned, other then the car in the shop, was stolen. Any information should be reported to Hamner Racing engines as they look to track down the guilty party.

4:57

It appears the second round of practice for the local divisions will be forgone and the track drying is now being done to ensure the scheduled 5:30 PM start of qualifying.
