Allen Karnes is series regular and a regular in the Southeast Super Late Model scene. Karnes is one driver who will be looking at the middle of the point standings very closely all season. Having never qualified for the famed Snowball Derby Karnes could use the SSS as chance to get a provisional if he is inside the top 10 in points at the end of the year. Karnes could also qualify with Blizzard Series points. There are plenty of things to race for and not just at the front of the field.

3:10

Head tech man Ricky Brooks told the drivers yesterday that he would be swapping out all the ignition boxes to make sure that it was a level playing field. So no driver who raced last night with a certain box will running the same tonight.
