Junior Johnson is a hometown favorite and has had lots of success in the past here in the past at North Wilkesboro. In his career as a crew chief he won 18 races here on the Wilkesboro short track. Yesterday he was back on the pit box for his son, Robert Johnson.

Justin Sorrow held off Gary Davis in a thrilling photo-finish in the 100 lap Limited Late Model feature here on Saturday. Sorrow got the lead when Jessie Little and Rock Harris tangled for the top spot with eight laps to go. Ryan Gibbs, Luke Fleming and Nick Waycarter made up the top five.
