After a valiant attempt at getting practice in today, the weather is just not cooperating.  Today’s events are being moved to tomorrow at noon.  Join us again tomorrow where will hopefully get cars on the track at speed.  Thanks again for joining us, Goodnight Folks!
Lots of questions understandably about the weather situation here at the track. Track crews firing up the blowers to begin drying operations… There are still sprinkles falling but owner Tim Bryant has called for the service vehicles and anyone else that wants to help get start running laps to dry the track.
Comment From Guest

Dos the track have any kind of time frame for getting practice going again?

Comment From fred

Here at the track. Any word on when track drying will start?

Any update on track drying?

No Tyler Miles will only be racing the Pro Late Model.
Comment From Guest

is Tyler Miles running a PLM as well as a SLM in 2 weeks?

Grant Enfinger has failed to qualify for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race in Homestead, FL.
Also add Ryan Redmond, Thomas Praytor and Tyler Miles to the list of drivers here today.

Can we get a list of the late models there

Comment From Guest

does DJ Vanderley have his PLM and SLM there today?

The stories that are shared during rain delays are always intriguing at the race track. The VanderLey’s are sharing stories of flying off track at Mobile, and running over turtles in the track here in Pensacola. DJ VanderLey sits patiently waiting to get on track with his Pro Late Model.
Snowball Derby competitor Grant Enfinger is attempting to qualify for the NASCAR Sprint Cup race in the #93 at Homestead, FL.

Tony Clark runs a Pro Late Model.
Comment From Guest

Tony Clark’s not on the entry list, is he running as a SLM or PLM?

No, Bobby Knox is bringing the same cars he’s ran all year in the South East.  They have been rebuilt from the ground up in preperation for the Derby.
Comment From Guest

is Knox’s car brand new?

Practice is finally underway here in Pensacola as Bombers are on the speedway.
Comment From Bob Dillner

Checking out Snowball Derby practice from the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series finale in Homestead, FL. Can’t wait for Derby Week! Still looking for a Modified or Super Stock ride!

JEGS LAP MONEY – JEGS.com will be presenting a $10.00 bonus for each lap lead that comprise the Snowflake 100 and Snowball Derby.  That’s over $4,000.00 in award money.  Leading will really pay in Pensacola this year.
Not sure if they are going to help with the drying or if this will be the first round of practice. More to come.
Bombers are being called to stop -n- go.
Augie Grill is not here so far today.
Comment From Guest

Is augie there

Track drying is ongoing.  There is a persistant mist that is prolonging the process.  Nevertheless, teams are still rolling cars through tech and preparing to practice as soon as the track is ready.
